About ClawGate

ClawGate was built because AI agents are getting more autonomous, and we needed a way to keep humans in the loop for sensitive actions.

The Problem

Modern AI agents can send emails, make purchases, delete files, and interact with external services. They're incredibly powerful, but they also make mistakes. Sometimes they misinterpret instructions. Sometimes they get prompt-injected. And by the time you see what they did in the chat log, it's already done.

Our Solution

ClawGate adds a human checkpoint for sensitive actions. When your agent tries to do something important, you get a notification on your phone and approve (or deny) with Face ID. The whole process takes about 2 seconds.

We use WebAuthn passkeys — the same phishing-resistant technology that Apple, Google, and Microsoft are pushing to replace passwords. Your passkey is bound to your device and your biometrics. No one can approve actions on your behalf without your face.

Open Source

ClawGate is 100% open source under the MIT license. You can self-host everything — the server, the iOS app, the OpenClaw plugin. We believe security tools should be transparent and auditable.

Built By

ClawGate is built by Asteya Tech LLC, a software company focused on building tools that help people use technology more intentionally.

We also build QuitStake, an app that helps people reduce screen time using financial accountability.

For the OpenClaw Community

ClawGate was built specifically for the OpenClaw community. We're users ourselves, and we wanted to solve this problem for everyone running autonomous agents.
